The inherent hydrophobicity of liquid silicone rubber gives our protective sheaths excellent water barrier performance, which does not degrade after long-term immersion or repeated temperature cycles. The elastic fit of LSR can absorb micro-vibration displacement of components during use, maintaining continuous sealing performance to prevent moisture from penetrating into core electronic components. We can achieve waterproof ratings up to IP68 for deep water applications according to customer requirements.
Unlike general-purpose organic rubber, LSR resists ultraviolet radiation, ozone, oxidation, and aging, and can maintain stable elasticity and mechanical properties after long-term exposure to outdoor or industrial environments. It does not crack, become sticky, or deform under extreme high and low temperatures, and the service life is 3–5 times longer than that of nitrile rubber and neoprene protective parts under the same conditions. In addition, our standard products are RoHS and REACH compliant, meeting international environmental protection requirements for electronic products.
Liquid silicone rubber has good fluidity before curing, and can be precisely injected into complex mold cavities to form protective sheaths with special geometric shapes, grooves, and structural features to match the appearance of irregular electronic components. We support full custom development according to customer-provided 2D drawings or 3D models, and can adjust the hardness and thickness of the product to meet different functional requirements—whether soft buffer protection or hard structural support.
LSR has excellent electrical insulation performance, with a dielectric strength of up to 20kV/mm, which will not affect the signal transmission and normal electrical performance of internal electronic components. It can be used to protect signal connectors, sensors, and other components that require maintaining signal penetration, and can even be formulated with specific conductivity for static shielding applications if required by customers.
