Xiangchu Rubber, a leading domestic manufacturer of high-performance liquid silicone rubber (LSR), solid silicone compounds, and custom silicone molded components, hereby issues this official 2026 Dragon Boat Festival holiday notice to all internal staff, domestic and international clients, supply chain partners, and relevant stakeholders. This notice outlines the holiday schedule, operational adjustments, pre-holiday production arrangement protocols, contingency support mechanisms, and post-holiday resumption plans to minimize disruptions to ongoing projects and supply chains. As a company committed to ISO 9001:2015 quality management system compliance and 98.5% on-time delivery rate targets, we have developed a multi-layered coordination framework to balance the statutory rest entitlements of our 320+ employees with the operational needs of our global partner network.
This section defines the formal holiday timeline, on-duty staffing configuration, and cross-departmental coordination rules during the rest period, in accordance with the *Provisions of the State Council on National Annual Festivals and Memorial Days* and internal labor management regulations of Xiangchu Rubber.
The 2026 Dragon Boat Festival statutory holiday runs from June 19, 2026 (Thursday) to June 21, 2026 (Saturday), totaling 3 consecutive days of rest. Normal work will resume across all departments on June 22, 2026 (Sunday). No compensatory work is required on weekends before or after the holiday, in line with the 2026 national statutory holiday adjustment guidelines.
This schedule applies to all staff in Xiangchu Rubber’s headquarters in Zhangzhou, Fujian, the 2 production bases in Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, the 3 domestic sales offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu, and the international business department in Xiamen. Third-party on-site service providers and contracted logistics partners operating within our facilities are required to align their own rest schedules with this notice, or submit a separate on-duty application to the administrative department for approval 7 working days in advance.
For frontline production staff who apply for voluntary overtime during the holiday, the company will provide compensation in accordance with the *Labor Law of the People’s Republic of China*: 300% of the regular daily wage for work on June 20 (the statutory Dragon Boat Festival day), and 200% of the regular daily wage or equivalent compensatory leave for work on June 19 and 21. All overtime applications must be approved by the production department director and human resources department before June 12, 2026, and the total overtime headcount for each production shift will be capped at 20% of the standard shift size to ensure staff rest rights.
To maintain basic operational connectivity during the holiday, we have arranged a 3-tier on-duty system covering core functional departments, as detailed in Table 1:
All on-duty staff are required to maintain 100% mobile phone connectivity during their scheduled hours, and submit a daily duty log to the administrative department via the company’s internal OA system before the end of their shift. The company will provide a RMB 150 daily meal allowance and free on-site accommodation for on-duty staff during the holiday.
All non-production facilities, including the staff cafeteria, R&D testing laboratory (except for long-running stability test chambers), and administrative approval window, will be closed during the holiday. Routine administrative approvals, including expense reimbursement, contract sealing, and vendor onboarding, will be suspended during the period and processed in the order of receipt after work resumes on June 22.
To mitigate the impact of the 3-day holiday on order delivery and raw material supply, we have formulated targeted arrangement protocols for ongoing production orders, raw material inventory, and logistics coordination, applicable to all orders confirmed before June 10, 2026.
All standard LSR and solid silicone compound orders with a confirmed delivery date between June 19 and June 21, 2026 will be adjusted according to the following rules:
As of May 30, 2026, our overall order backlog stands at 127 tons, with 78% of orders scheduled for delivery before June 18. We have increased the production capacity of our 4 LSR production lines by 15% from June 1 to June 18 by adjusting shift schedules, to ensure that as many orders as possible are shipped before the holiday. Clients who need to advance their delivery schedules are requested to submit a formal request to their account manager before June 12, 2026, and we will evaluate the feasibility of adjustment based on existing production capacity.
We have completed pre-holiday inventory replenishment of all core raw materials and finished products as of June 5, 2026, with inventory levels detailed in Table 2:
Clients who place new orders during the holiday will have their orders processed in the order of receipt starting June 22, and the standard production lead time will apply, with no additional delays caused by raw material shortages.
In terms of logistics coordination:
We also advise all clients to adjust their own raw material procurement plans appropriately, and place replenishment orders in advance if their inventory is expected to be exhausted during the holiday period, to avoid production disruptions.
In line with our ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system requirements, we have implemented a full-coverage safety inspection and emergency response framework to eliminate potential safety hazards during the holiday, when most staff are away from the facility.
We organized a cross-departmental safety inspection team composed of EHS department staff, production supervisors, and equipment maintenance personnel to conduct a full-scope safety inspection of all facilities from June 10 to June 15, 2026, covering the following key areas:
All identified safety hazards will be rectified before June 17, 2026, with a written rectification report submitted to the EHS director for review. No staff will be allowed to enter the production workshop or warehouse alone after 18:00 on June 18 without a pre-approved access permit from the security department.
We have established a 24-hour emergency response team led by the company’s operations director, with clear escalation paths for different types of incidents:
The full list of on-duty staff contact information will be published on the company’s internal portal, official WeChat public account, and client service platform on June 17, 2026, for easy access by all stakeholders. All emergency incidents will be recorded in detail, and a post-incident analysis report will be submitted to the management team within 3 working days after the holiday to improve future response mechanisms.
To ensure a smooth transition back to full operational capacity after the holiday, we have developed a structured resumption plan covering production restart, order processing, and quality verification.
All production shifts will resume normal work at 08:00 on June 22, 2026, with a 1-hour pre-production safety briefing and equipment inspection conducted for each shift before production starts. The equipment maintenance team will conduct a full functional check of all production lines, mixing equipment, and testing instruments from 07:00 to 08:00 on June 22, to eliminate any equipment failures caused by the 3-day shutdown.
Our production capacity recovery timeline is as follows:
All orders pending production before the holiday will be prioritized, and we will arrange overtime production if necessary to ensure that all delayed orders are shipped by June 24, 2026, to meet our annual on-time delivery rate target. We will also conduct a full quality inspection of the first batch of products produced after the holiday, to ensure that product performance meets the specified standards, with no deviations caused by the production line shutdown.
All administrative departments, including human resources, finance, and administrative management, will resume normal services on June 22. Administrative approvals submitted before the holiday will be processed within 2 working days after resumption. The staff cafeteria will resume normal meal services from breakfast on June 22, with food safety inspections conducted by the administrative department on June 21 to ensure food safety.
Our client service team will follow up with all clients with pending orders or unresolved issues on June 22, to provide updates on order progress and adjusted delivery schedules. We will also maintain normal communication channels for new order inquiries, technical consultation requests, and after-sales support, with a standard response time of ≤2 hours for working hour inquiries, in line with our usual service standards.
For international clients in different time zones, our international business department will arrange staggered working hours as needed to ensure timely response to inquiries from European, North American, and Southeast Asian markets, with no disruption to cross-border cooperation projects.
This 2026 Dragon Boat Festival holiday arrangement is formulated on the basis of complying with national statutory regulations, protecting the legitimate rest rights of employees, and minimizing the impact on the operation of our partners. Xiangchu Rubber sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the holiday adjustment to our clients and partners, and we will make every effort to implement all the arrangements outlined in this notice to ensure stable and reliable supply of silicone materials and services.
The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival that commemorates the patriotic poet Qu Yuan and embodies the cultural connotations of harmony, health, and family reunion. On this occasion, Xiangchu Rubber would like to extend our sincere festival greetings to all staff, clients, and partners, and wish you and your family good health, happiness, and prosperous business.
